Jonathan Alboum, the Agriculture Department’s chief information officer, joined Federal News Radio for a free online chat. Alboum discussed USDA’s plans to consolidate more than a dozen disparate networks, to ensure access to data in order to improve decision-making across the bureaus, and to use shared services for commodity IT.
Executive Editor Jason Miller moderated the chat which was underwritten by DLT Solutions and Oracle.
Alboum took part in the chat after his appearance on Federal News Radio’s Ask the CIO program.
